 How to use Siri.

To know what Siri can perform for you, you just need to press and hold the 'Home' button and then tap 'i'.

Tell Siri about your friends and relatives.

You can tell Siri about your relationships, such as “Katy is my wife” or “Joseph is my dad.” Then you can say, “Text my wife” or “Call dad” and Siri knows who you mean.

Set your locations.

Tell Siri the address of where you live and where you work. That way, Siri can remind you to do things when you leave or arrive at either place.

                                      

Take a picture of your screen.

To take picture of your current screen, you just need to press and hold the home button, and then press sleep button. This makes your screen flash and appear in you camera roll.

                                          

                              

Display character count in text messages.

In Settings, tap Messages, then tap the Character Count switch. The count appears as you type when your message exceeds two lines. You may want to do this when carrier fees apply.

 

                                      

 

Just a tap and get focused.

While shooting video or photos, tap the screen where you want to focus. iPhone will also adjust the exposure and white balance automatically.                                      

Some useful keyboard tips.

• Tapping the space bar twice will add a full stop and it also capitalizes the next letter.
• To enter a number or symbol quickly, touch and hold
  , then select the key you want. Lifting your finger returns you to the alphabet keyboard.
• Holding a letter will reveal a list of some special characters.

                                

       

Fly to the top.

If you are reading a lengthy article then suddenly you need to go to the top of the page, it could be very annoying but by just tapping the status bar you will be whisked straight back to the top of the page.

                                         

Hold Home and Sleep to Reboot

If your iPHONE freezes up then hold the home and the sleep button together, your iPHONE should then reboot normally.

Enable International Keyboards for International TLDs

The .com button is pretty handier if  you can add a few extra TLDs with the tap-and-hold trick. If you are typing a specific international TLD often, you can add it to that pop-up by enabling the appropriate international keyboard.

Go to Setting > General > Keyboard > International Keyboards. Then, once you turn on the ones you want, they’ll show up inside the .com button.

 

Just enter the domain name.

If you want to access a regular website, you don't even need to enter www. or .com , just enter the domain name of that site as shown in the picture above. It can save you almost five seconds.

Add Sites to Your Home Screen for Quick Access and More

if you have some favorite sites and you want to access them faster then adding the site to homescreen could be a handy option. just tap the '+' button in safari and select 'Add to Homescreen'.

Use the Timer to Turn Off Your Music

It’s great to fall asleep listening to your favorite music. However, you don’t want your iPhone playing music all night. Apple has provided an easy solution for this problem.
Within the Clock app, set a timer for however long you want the music to play. Then, instead of choosing a ring, choose to Sleep iPod when the timer ends.
